Since 2007, the Guild of Harwich Gallery has run year-round, featuring masterfully crafted pieces of art created by member artists of the guild using a variety of techniques and disciplines. Peruse the art gallery in Cape Cod and observe artwork made by local Cape Cod artists with backgrounds in graphic and interior design, art education, and architecture who come together to put forth gallery pieces in acrylic, oil, pastels, watercolor, etching, collage, and white line monotype.
The Cape Cod art gallery also has a “Meet the Artist” series, during which the Guild of Harwich has their artists put on painting demonstrations, talks, and general educational outreach and social mingling. If you want to meet the creators of these gorgeous pieces of artwork, these events are a great opportunity to do so.
The Guild of Harwich Gallery is open all year long, but holds seasonal hours. During the spring, the Cape Cod art gallery is open on Saturdays and Sundays throughout April and May, from 10:00am until 5:00pm. From June through early October, the gallery is open seven days per week, from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Monday through Saturday and from 12:00pm until 4:00pm on Sundays. During July and August, the gallery also opens for Wednesday evenings during their Music Stroll events, which last from 5:00pm until 8:30pm. In the fall (from mid-October through December), the gallery returns to opening on weekends.
There is no admission fee to enter the Cape Cod art gallery or to attend any of its programs, as the Guild of Harwich Artists is a non-profit organization with a mission in extending Cape Cod artistic education to the local residents of Harwich and the general public.
