These Kitchens are Designed for Making Memories

Although our rentals are spread out all over the Cape and are different in many ways, one common trait they all share are kitchens designed for making memories. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and we think the meals you prepare in our rentals may just be better than any you have ever created before—you’ll just have to buy the groceries first.  Because New England Vacation Rentals homes are located in villages and towns across Cape Cod, you’ll be happy to know that are may grocery stores to stock up such as Shaw’s, Stop and Stop, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods. Most grocery stores have pharmacies and of course we have CVS, Walgreens, and other large pharmacy chains if needed.  Get Fresh and sample the best local fish and seafood around available at many local fish markets and specialty stores.

The Flavor of Cape Cod

Because you won’t want to eat every meal at home, vacations are about stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things (including foods!), and the restaurants on Cape Cod are plentiful and delicious! The Cape is home to one of the yummiest diners we have ever eaten at such as Larry’s PX in Chatham, Ruggie’s in Harwich Center, The Red Cottage in Dennis, and the Daily Paper in Hyannis. They are famous for the traditional New England style meals they serve, and their breakfasts are known to be hearty and filling; we love their Cape Cod take on traditional breakfast dishes! Our favorite lunch spots include the Corner Store in Harwich and Orleans, Mom and Pop’s in Chatham and the Sea Street Café Hyannis are popular places to break for your midday meal. Try any of their specialties and you will be hooked! If you want to make dinner an extra special occasion, we love the Ocean House in Dennisport, Bluefin in Chatham, Ember Coal Fired Pizza and Wings and the Port in Harwich Port, the Brazillian Grill in Hyannis.

The Adventure Continues

It doesn’t matter if this is your first time visiting the Cape or your hundredth visit to our incredible island, you will always find something new, fascinating, and adventurous to do during your stay! Hike the trails of Nickerson State Park with your dog in Brewster, explore the gardens and history of the Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich, or photograph the beauty of the Sandy Neck Gate House in West Barnstable or the famous Chathamlight House.
