Add in the chance to devour baseball-themed food and beverages, a pie eating contest, and a chance to explore the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame, and you’ve got the experience of a lifetime!

Host with the Most

Getting the chance to experience a Cape Cod League game is one of those magical summer occurrences that offer the fans a chance to get close to players who are more than likely going to go far in the baseball world, and knowing that the Administrator of the CCRTA, Tom Cahir, was once a player in the league, it just makes sense that The CCRTA is the host of this annual event. Holding it on father’s day weekend, just makes even more sense. Can you think of a better way to spoil the fathers of the world?

The schedule

Kicking off the summer with a bang, fans can board the CapeFLYER train and enjoy food and drinks with a baseball theme, followed by a 30-minute reception that will be held prior to the game. The reception is where the future MLB stars will be found mingling with current MLB fans. After the reception, the players will head to McKeon Field and practice before the big game starts at 2:00 PM. While the players are warming up, fans can take the opportunity to tour the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame and learn about the history of this esteemed league. The pie eating contest will be held on June 19th with all pies being contributed by the Centerville Pie Company. This exciting weekend is one you won’t want to miss!
