Their Passion is Obvious
Born in the Philippines and raised in Southern California, Mom is the yin to Pops’s yang, who was born and raised in Connecticut. The historic building that houses this restaurant in Cape Cod, MA was built in 1840 is homey and inviting, with the big red sign featuring caricatures of cows adding a touch of whimsy to the practical New England architecture. You’ll be greeted by a postcard-style message painted on the white walls of the interior of this casual eatery in shades of green and red, and the simple décor of the interior manages to be both warm and welcoming. Plain white metal chairs, black tables, and wood floors convey the message that the food served here is the star of the show.
Voted the Best Burger of Cape Cod in 2017!
Of course, you will want to try one of their burgers, but you’ll probably want to return a few times during your Cape Cod vacation to sample other dishes on the menu! You can’t go wrong with their standard cheeseburger, but if you were born with an iron stomach that can take the heat, El Dyablo Burger, or the even hotter Naughty Dyablo Burger, will satisfy your urge for spicy! Mom & Pops Burger also serves a variety of hot dogs (including one with jalapeños!) and other sandwiches that are all worth a try! Mom’s Homemade Lumpia adds a special international flair to the standard American menu, and the Plantain & Black Bean Vegetarian Burger is a tasty option for vegetarians tired of the same old salads. Speaking of salads, Mom & Pops Burger’s version is laden with avocados, black beans, and Monterey cheese; with a large selection of dressings available, and the possibility of adding chicken, beef, or the vegetable patty for an additional charge, this salad is hearty and delicious!
