Situated in Harwich Port, Bud’s Go-Karts is a Cape Cod institution in terms of kid-friendly attractions. While it may not be as fancy as other go-kart tracks in the area, Bud’s Go-Karts is a tried and true outlet for amusement that has entertained countless families for decades on end, ever since its opening day in the year 1960.
At just $6.00 for a six-minute ride around its lengthy track, you can’t go wrong with this no-frills attraction. Additionally, the go-karts at Bud’s in Harwich run at a speed that’s fun but manageable, meaning your kids will be able to control their karts and have a great time doing it.
Bud’s Go-Karts is open seasonally from June through the fall season from 10:00am until 4:00pm, as long as the weather permits. During 2017, Bud’s opened early starting on April 15th for the duration of school vacation, and has since begun operating on the weekends until their full-time opening date during June.
Visitors who wish to go-kart in Harwich on this track must be at least 8 years old and 54 inches tall. Children who do not meet these requirements can ride in a double cart driven by someone at least 16 years or older. While drivers of double carts must buy a ticket, the riders of double carts in such cases can ride without purchasing a ticket.
