The name Blue Sky is in memory of a loved one no longer with us, whose only needs in life were a beach chair and listening to The Allman Brothers Band. Located on a corner lot on a quiet road in Dennis Port, Blue Sky is a classic Cape cottage with upscale appointments by Elder and Ash Design Studio inspired by the renaissance of the great American road trip. Successfully combining modern amenities with the nostalgia evoked by the Cape vacations of yesteryear, they were able to create an inviting space that is aesthetically pleasing as well. 

Enter the warm and welcoming cottage to find an expansive open floorplan that allows for a vacation filled with memories of time spent together. The living room provides comfortable seating focused around a flat-screen TV that is mounted above the gas fireplace. Read a book in the daylight or cozy up for a movie at night - either activity is supported in this relaxing living space.

Past the living room, you find the conveniently open kitchen and dining space accented by sleek stainless steel appliances surrounded by a deep ocean blue hue. There is seating for four at the dining table and proximity to the kitchen for easy access to anything you need during meals. Do as much or as little meal preparation as you desire - all can be efficiently performed in this space!

Connected to the dining area is a sunroom, unique to only Blue Sky amongst the surrounding cottage colony. This space is ideal as it adds to both the floorplan area and the sleep opportunities with a convenient sleeper sofa. Whatever you need this room to be, it is ready to provide!

Back toward the entry of this home, you find both bedrooms and the bathroom they share. Bedroom #1 offers a king-sized bed, mounted flat-screen TV, and plenty of storage space as well. Bedroom #2 features two twin-sized beds and ample space surrounding them for guests to share.

The adjacent bathroom is stunningly but simplistically appointed to provide ease of use for everyone in the home. There is even a small stool to assist the little ones in reaching the sink!

The exterior of this home offers a firepit with surrounding seating in front, a partially fenced yard in the back, and a convenient garage where beach essentials are found or guest items (like bicycles) can be stored. There is also an outdoor shower (new in 2024!) and a gas grill to prepare those al fresco meals.
