A Restaurant with a Tradition Birthed in Excellence

The founders of one of the best restaurants cape cod, Fisherman’s View, are Bob and Denny Colbert, a pair of local fisherman who have fished out of the Sandwich Marina for over thirty years! After they completed their engineering degrees at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the brothers fell in love with fishing, and while they may have begun with just a small boat, they have evolved their business to include three large commercial vessels.

Not content with the success they were finding in the fishing business, the Colbert brothers wanted to take it one step further and decided to conquer the Cape Cod dining business as well! Thus, in August 2015, the two brothers obtained an adjacent piece of land on the Cape Cod Canal and built their vision: a boat-to-table seafood market, restaurant, bar, and wholesale complex. With a focus on fresh, locally sourced seafood, coupled with stunning views of the canal and marina, the brothers hope to give all guests of the Fisherman’s View a truly unique experience and glimpse of modern fishing!
