FAQs About Hyannis Vacation Rentals

Q: Isn’t Hyannis where John F Kennedy used to spend his summers?

A: The Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port is world famous and as of April of 2023, Ethel Kennedy was still living in one of the three homes that make up the compound at the age of 95. And although you can’t visit the compound itself, there are boat tours that will take visitors to see it by water, including Hy-Line Cruises.

Q: Are there any golf courses in Hyannis?

A: Twin Brooks Golf Course is a public course located at 35 Scudder Avenue in Hyannis. Designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the 1960s, it is a Par 3, 18 hole course that is fun for golfers of all skill levels.

Q: I have to work while I am vacationing on Cape Cod, do you have any office space in your Hyannis rentals?

A: The pandemic taught us that working from home doesn’t necessarily have to mean we are working from our own homes and our Hyannis homes will offer free wireless internet and often a desk or office space that will provide privacy as it garners envy from coworkers who aren’t working from such exotic locales.

Q: Is it true that the Kennedys used to eat and shop in town just like regular people?

A: The Kennedys were normal people to all of us here on Cape Cod, and it wasn’t unusual to run into them while shopping on Main Street or while they were eating at one of their favorite restaurants, Captains Table, located in the Hyannis Yacht Club and still open today.
