Harbor Hideaway is a private cottage in an idyllic location. The walkability from this spot is our favorite part of staying at this home! Nestled between Chatham Harbor and Old Harbor Road, there is so much to do and explore from this wonderful location in Chatham. You can easily take a scenic walk along Shore Road to Chatham Fish Pier or Chatham Bars Inn, or you can take a stroll down Old Harbor Road to the Chatham Anglers baseball field to catch a Cape Cod summer league game or play at one of the Chatham playgrounds. If you walk further along either of these roads, you will find yourself in quaint downtown Chatham, where you can catch concerts and performances at Chatham Bandstand, peruse the many art galleries, shop at the various boutiques and gift shops, and dine at the fabulous restaurants. We are a quick drive to the many beaches Chatham has to offer, and there are many other nearby activities to enjoy, such as golfing at the beautiful golf courses, biking at the nearby bike path, and boating in picturesque Pleasant Bay. On the days you choose to stay home, you can enjoy the very private backyard with a deck, lounge chairs, and grill. While you relax and listen to the chirping of the birds in the trees, you might even be able to hear the sound of the surf crashing against the sand at Outer Beach or the seals barking from the sandbar in Chatham Harbor. Welcome to your Cape Cod getaway in highly sought-after Chatham! Its prime location near downtown Chatham and the renowned Fish Pier makes it easy to enjoy the best of the area, from local shops and restaurants to beautiful beaches and waterfront attractions.

As you enter the cottage, you'll find a full bathroom to the left and a fully equipped kitchen to the right, stocked with everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. The comfortable living room provides a welcoming space to relax after a day of exploring, and a mini-split air conditioning system helps keep the first floor cool and comfortable throughout the season.

Upstairs, you'll discover a versatile sleeping loft that offers additional accommodations for family or friends. The loft flows seamlessly into the private bedroom, creating a cozy and inviting second-floor retreat. A second mini-split air conditioning unit keeps the upper level comfortable, even during warm summer afternoons.
