Elegant and Stylish Beachfront Living in Our Truro Rentals

As you pull up to the front of the charming cottage that is going to be your home for the next few weeks, you may discover a softness in the air as a gentle breeze lightly kisses your cheeks and you hear the crash of waves against sandy beaches. Your temporary abode just happens to have the Atlantic Ocean in its backyard!

Beachfront living on the Cape is a casual affair, and our Truro rentals are built so as not to take anything away from the beauty that lies outside. The homes come with hardwood floors, perfect for elegant décor and for easy upkeep, and slipcovered furniture in neutral colors that invites you to sink right in for a quick daytime nap or a nice long read.

The fully equipped kitchens have high end appliances that make cooking an experience, not a chore. And finally, the bedrooms in our rentals in Truro are havens of peace and tranquility, decorated in a simplistic elegance. New Englanders are a practical bunch, and we understand how clutter can interrupt that all-important REM sleep. Besides, who needs knick-knacks with THAT view outside your windows?

While Truro is undeniably admired for its many beaches and spectacular views, this is a vacation destination that offers up opportunities to make the most of everything from museums and theaters to landmark attractions and beyond as well. If you’re a traveler searching for that getaway experience that comes with a dash of everything, Truro promises to be a place that caters to interests and passions of all types.

For those travelers that find their happiness in pursuing history wherever they may roam, a trip to Truro just isn’t complete with a stop at the Pilgrim Monument and Museum. Situated at High Pole Hill Road in Provincetown, the Pilgrim Monument and Museum is a great place to put your photography skills to work before heading inside and enjoying a collection of exhibits that showcase a timeline of people, places, and events that shaped the Provincetown story. The museum is open to the public daily between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm while the monument is easy to spot, even from a distance. The monument’s construction began in 1910 and was created to honor the first pilgrim landing in the area in 1620. The Mayflower Compact was signed in Provincetown Harbor, making this monument and museum even more meaningful for those that look to the past for direction in the future.

It comes as no surprise that Cape Cod has long found its legacy not only on land but in the very sea that surrounds this area. In honor of the maritime culture that defines this region, a trip to the Highland Lighthouse is well worth a visit when you’re in the area. Situated at 27 Highland Light Road in North Truro, this lighthouse has long been a beacon of importance in the area. Today, the lighthouse remains a functioning feature of the shoreline and is operated by the United States Coast Guard. The lighthouse is situated within the greater Cape Cod National Seashore and stretches 66 feet into the sky. The tower that visitors see today was first built in 1857 but it’s important to note that two earlier towers were constructed with roots dating back to 1831 and 1797. Guided tours are available upon request at the lighthouse and those looking to purchase a souvenir to commemorate their visit will find the Highland Light Museum Store to be an intriguing stop during a visit. Non-profit Eastern National operates the lighthouse store and is associated with the National Park Service.
