For twenty years, we escaped to the Cape, always leaving a piece of our hearts behind and dreaming of what it would feel like to actually live by the sea. When we finally found this cottage, it felt like a dream come true.
To us, this isn't just a place to stay. It is the backdrop to our very favorite days— where the mornings start with the glow of the sunrise, the evenings fade into spectacular sunsets, and the hours between are filled with the sea, sandy toes, messy lobster dinners, and endless laughter with family and friends.

Welcome to the Winthrop House, a charming Cape Cod seaside cottage where each day feels like a brand-new discovery. Rebuilt in 2012, this cottage blends quintessential Cape Cod beach charm with a contemporary interior, modern updates, abundant natural light, and vaulted ceilings. Enjoy unobstructed views of Cape Cod Bay from nearly every room. This special setting completely captures both sunrise and sunset!

Located at the end of a charming lane, the cottage is just steps from a private Association beach with easy access to swimming, kayaking, beachcombing, and peaceful low-tide walks. Friends and family call it "The End" because beyond the cottage...is the sea!

Just off the living room, sliding glass doors open to a private deck with two seating areas, including a dining table for outdoor meals and a comfortable lounge area. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and spectacular sunsets from the deck, or gather for a lobster dinner as the sky turns pink. An outdoor shower makes rinsing off after the beach easy and convenient.

Inside, the bright, open-concept floor plan features a comfortable living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, creating a welcoming space to relax after a day at the beach.

Tucked away in coveted Barnstable Village just off historic 6a, this cottage is part of a small community of free-standing condominiums at the end of a quaint lane. Guests can enjoy the shared Common Green, perfect for lawn games and outdoor fun.
