Swimming or lounging in the pond or early evening fishing are just a few of the fun things our kids enjoy while here. Enjoy swimming and kayaking right from your back door. Want to try Stand up paddle boarding? We can assist you in renting one for your stay and even have it delivered right to your door! This home is situated in a quiet setting close to the bike trail and Harwich Center which offers the Community Center, Brooks Park, public tennis, playground, library, restaurants etc. In the summer the lake has more vegetation, including waterlilies. These do not affect the water quality.
New Central AC, a portable fire pit for pond-side evenings, and free WiFi!
Enter the home through the compact kitchen with warm wood cabinets, granite counters, fridge, and stove (no dishwasher), to a cozy living area with a fireplace. (Please ask about using the fireplace.) Through the living room is the entrance to the screened-in porch, overlooking the pond, with comfortable seating and a game table. Enjoy a game of cards or checkers all while taking in the beautiful, private views.
To the right of the living room is a short hallway with 2 bedrooms, full bath, and stacked washer and dryer. Bedroom #1 on the right has a bunk bed, with a twin bed over a Queen bed. Bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Outside is a wooden deck looking out at the woods on either side and the pond. It has a dining set, extra seating, and a gas grill. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower on the ground level. Come escape to the Cape and create special memories at this hideaway on the hill! This secluded retreat in the woods with pond views will not disappoint.
Refreshed in 2021 with new paint and furniture updates. Central AC added 2024.
The home is located on a dirt road and in a secluded area on the pond. All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is recommended, but many guests have accessed it with regular vehicles.

PET FRIENDLY HOMES are for a DOG only. This home allows 1 dog for $25 per night. With owner approval, a second dog may be considered for an additional $25 nightly fee. A Pet Registration form must be completed upon reservation confirmation.
Max parking of cars at property: 2 No parking on lawn anytime.
Fireplaces are only available for use in the winter months with advance approval from owner.
