Summer Wind on the Cape is our home away from home.   When we walk through the doors, we overlook the ocean and the views take our breath way whether its summer, winter, fall or spring.   You can sit on the deck and smell the ocean, feel the breeze and hear the surf and forget about absolutely everything for a while.   Our home soothes and calms our senses and we never want to leave!  You can be lost anywhere in the house and enjoy your privacy, or you can be out in the yard playing with the family, but most important you're a step away from the beach.

This home has been recently updated.   

The upper main level offers a newly remodeled kitchen with an open living/dining area with views and sliders to a wrap around, expansive deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, bright white cabinets, and a center island with drawer-type microwave and stools for breakfast-bar seating. The kitchen now opens to the French-style dining area. The living room has updated, coastal furniture including a new couch. The sliders to the large back deck let the natural sun in and showcase the ocean views.

On this level and down the hallway from the living area is a half bath, and at the end of hallway is the Master suite, furnished with a King bed, TV, and an adjoining full bath with tub/shower. Wake up each morning and take a couple of steps to the sliding glass doors that invite you to sit back and relax on the deck as you drink your coffee and take in the true beauty of Cape Cod.

Walk in the front door or the side door from the breezeway and you are on the lower level. As you enter the front door there is an entryway with a staircase to the upstairs. To the left is a hallway with an enclosed washer/dryer in a closet and a door to the breezeway that has a small patio and entrance to garage (not for guest use). There is an enclosed outdoor shower in this area too.  To the right of the staircase is a hallway that goes around and to the back and left of the staircase.  On the right is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Directly in back of the staircase is a separate family room with sliders to small back deck and backyard. This family room offers a Queen sleep sofa, flat screen TV, and privacy sheers as well as drapes across the sliders for privacy. The second bedroom on this level has a Queen bed with sliders to a small deck and backyard. The 3rd bedroom offers a twin and double bed. To the left is a hallway with the 4th bedroom which is a second Master suite with a king bed, en suite full bath with tub/shower, and sliders to a small deck.

Outside there is a chef's grill- the grill master in the group will be in heaven as they prepare the surf and turf for the family to enjoy!  The deck is a sun worshiper's paradise as there is a different deck chair for every day of the week - chaise lounges, a unique circular outdoor couch, and traditional dining table and chairs.  Not to be missed is the enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water – a must have amenity for beach lovers! And the landscaped yard is perfect for kicking a ball around with the kids, playing tag, or even setting up a net to play badminton.  Finally, the fire pit for late night ghost stories and s'mores!

This home is located in South Harwich, walk, bike or drive to Red River Beach, there is a small foot-path from the dead-end street directly to the beach! The location is convenient to both the quaint and seaside towns of Chatham and Harwich Port Village. Enjoy School House Ice Cream nearby and the Cape Cod Bike Trail is just about a mile away.
