We love the cozy summer cottage vibes of our house and being able to pop over to our tiny neighborhood beach any time. We enjoy a walk along the water to the beautiful Pleasant Road beach or even all the way to Herring River. It's heavenly to relax and read a book on our airy screened-porch or peek at the ocean from our upstairs deck while sunbathing or sipping a beverage. Every now and then we are lucky enough to view fireworks from up there. Located in a family-friendly seaside neighborhood in Harwich, this home is perfect for a relaxing Cape Cod vacation!
Through the front door you find yourself in the living room with the stairway to the upper level and comfortable seating surrounding the brick fireplace. On the other side of the living space is a dining table with seating for eight and a convenient location next to the open kitchen. The kitchen has every amenity you can imagine along with a moveable kitchen island so you can add preparation space wherever you need! Through a doorway off of the kitchen near the coffee bar area, you will find the Family Room. This is a multipurpose area as it houses a Queen sized sleeper sofa but also offers a great gathering space to enjoy your favorite content on the flat screen TV.
Past the kitchen near the Family Room entrance, you encounter Bathroom #1 which is a full bathroom with shower. Nearby, there is a laundry closet with full sized washer and dryer for your use. Tucked away adjacent to the laundry closet is Bedroom #1 which is the Primary Bedroom. Featuring vaulted ceilings, a Queen sized bed, and Bathroom #2 which is a full en suite bathroom with shower, this bedroom is more than you anticipated and everything you desire!
Walking back to the dining area, you can venture beyond the table and through the sliding glass doors to the gorgeous screened porch! Bathed in light while offering shady spots from the mature trees outside, this room is where you will want to spend most of your time. Thankfully, the homeowners know this and outfitted the room with both dining for eight as well as comfortable seating to enjoy!
Up the flight of stairs near the home's entrance, you will find Bedroom #2 which flaunts a King sized bed that can be pulled apart if your group is more suited to having two Twin sized beds. Lots of light through dormer-style windows and great space as the bedroom stretches across the upper level, anyone will enjoy their time here.
Back in the upper level hallway, you can access Bathroom #3 which is a full bathroom with tub only - perfect for the little ones in your group! But the adults will want to enjoy the gorgeous clawfoot tub too so it is appointed with a bath caddy for those evenings when you send the kids to play mini-golf and enjoy alone time reading a book.
Rounding out the upper level is Bedroom #3 which features two Twin sized beds, lots of space to utilize and direct access through a door to the deck overlooking the neighborhood and with peek-a-boo views of the ocean.
