Owners Share Why I Love My Home:
Welcome to Turtle Dreams! We’re happy you’ve chosen our home for your vacation and hope your stay inspires relaxation, rejuvenation, and savoring of the joys of Cape Cod. Eastham is such a special place with its unparalleled beauty and relaxed vibe. We love our home because it is nestled in a less dense yet central part of the Cape and provides plenty of quiet and privacy and easy access to the best the Cape has to offer. We tried to reflect the peace, playfulness, and inspiration of Eastham in designing our home.
Let Us Tell You About This Home:
As you approach Turtle Dreams, you will get a sneak peak of the feel of this home as you notice a typical Cape Cod home with fun teal trim.
Enter through the front door into the main living space. Leave your hat on the hook and kick off your flip-flops to store in the bench. The home offers plenty of natural light with an open concept floor plan, hardwood oak floors throughout, and cathedral sky-lit beamed ceiling. Living room open to kitchen and dining areas.
The living room is the gathering space with a sectional “L” sofa in muted tones adorned with beachy throw pillows. Two brightly colored side chairs with two sets of nesting tables (coffee and side) all surround the flat screen TV with family games beneath, fireplace to the left and dreamy turtle art above it that denotes the home’s namesake.
Updated and well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel modern appliances (including a double oven), beautiful quartz countertops, and two seats at the island is the perfect place to leisurely have breakfast before hitting the beach or create a large meal for the whole family.
Dining space for eight located next to the large, bright, bow window and beneath the chandelier that accentuates the space with warmth.
A set of sliding glass doors fills one wall surrounding the dining area leading to the deck with grill and outdoor furniture. Make plans to have meals outside among the flowers and trees and the warm Cape Cod sun.
Back inside, past the kitchen is the door leading to the basement stairs. The laundry area with washer and dryer can be found there.
Continuing down the hall, you'll find the first bathroom featuring a shower, new flooring, gorgeous granite countertop, and beach bird artwork. Bedroom #1 features a king-sized bed outfitted in ocean blues and artful pops of color. Also, plenty of storage and a desk with chair for remote work or creative writing.
Next door and abutting the bathroom is Bedroom #2 with two twin-sized beds draped in bright hues visually anchored by cranberry swirls, beachy end tables, secretary desk and dresser, and ‘Dreaming up to the Trees’ artwork.
Back to the entry and up the stairs overlooking the vaulted ceilings and living space below, you find Bedroom #3 containing a queen-sized bed featuring more colors of the ocean like teal, kelp green and golden rod. The room also has a trundle bed with two twin-sized memory foam mattresses and an ensuite bathroom featuring a tub/shower combination.
The backyard will be your favorite spot to unwind after a day at the beach, overlooking the path to and surrounding the reflecting garden curated by the homeowner. You'll enjoy the fire pit with nighttime cocktails, and don't forget the outdoor enclosed shower to complete the Cape Cod beach experience!
