Owners Share Why I Love My Home:
I grew up vacationing on the Cape and it was a dream come true to purchase a family home here. Our favorite thing about the house is the set of memories we’ve made here entertaining our friends and family: dinner on the deck after watching sunset at Paine’s Creek, pancakes for a crowd on the Blackstone, s’mores around the bonfire, fetch in the yard with our dogs, some friendly competition at the pool table, or a glass of wine and great conversation in front of the fireplace. We truly hope you can feel the care we put into our home, and that your family loves it as much as we do.
Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Enter this lovely home through the front door. You will immediately notice the hardwood flooring and creative use of space with four comfortable chairs surrounding a coastal weathered round table. Built-in shelving surrounds the room's focal decorative fire place and Cape inspired art work fills the room.
This home has an open concept design in the living area - dining room, living / family room and kitchen. The dining area has a great rustic wood table that seats six (use the leaf to seat up to 8).
French-style sliders bring you to the large deck with gas grill, Blackstone griddle, extendable outdoor dining table and separate sitting area. Plenty of room to spread out and relax under the glow of beautiful glass string lights. Under the dappled shade of a tree there is a beautiful hammock for two. There are 8 colorful adirondack chairs for all to enjoy the shell-lined fire pit, which features a smokeless Solo Stove. The owners have considered every detail down to a supply of complimentary marshmallow roasting sticks.
The separate family room is just off the dining and living room. This light-filled room is beautifully outfitted in shades of grey and teal. There is a large flat screen TV, couch and three comfy chairs to relax in. The side door leads to the wrap around porch to the deck.
The kitchen is well-stocked with everything guests may need to enjoy vacation-worthy meals with family and friends. Good knives, plenty of glassware and tableware, and a collection of basic spices makes things easy for guests. From small appliances like a food processor and blender, to beautiful serving bowls and platters, to a popcorn maker and lobster pots.
The winding staircase in the living room directs you to a landing showcasing stunning coastal wall paper that evokes the feeling of summer as the birds appear to be flying right off the wall. Head through the door to the open King Bedroom #1- the walk in closet, remote work space, and TV coupled with a full bathroom make this upper level a private suite. The ensuite bathroom boasts a deep soaking tub accented with the same stunning wallpaper as the landing and a shower to wash away the day's cares. This primary bedroom also features an antique daybed – perfect for an extra guest or a nap.
Head back down the staircase to the main level where you will find bathroom #2 (full with bath and shower) and more bedrooms.
Bedroom #2 is at the end of the hall on the right with a Queen bed, large closet, dresser and surf-inspired décor. This bedroom features ensuite bathroom #3, a full bathroom with a shower.
Bedroom #3 contains a Queen bed, dresser, large closet and chair.
Bedroom #4 has a Queen bed, dresser and large closet.
Bedroom #5 is located in the beautiful finished lower level, and is outfitted with two twin beds, two large closets and a dresser. A foam converter is available should guests prefer to combine these beds to a King set up. Ensuite Bathroom #4 (with a shower) is located in this lower level bedroom, and has been recently refreshed with neutral nautical touches.
The spacious lower level also includes a beautiful tournament-size pool table, sitting area with a comfy couch, chair, a flat screen TV, and a pub table for games -- a great entertainment area. The media center features an electric fireplace – great for the off-season or the occasional in-season chilly night. Here you’ll also find whimsical paintings of the owner family’s dogs – shaking off the water of Cape Cod Bay from their fur. The slider gives access to the large back yard, where the fire pit is located.
Whether you're relaxing around the fire pit making s'mores to end the day, heading the bike trail at the end of the street, walking your dog through the quiet residential neighborhood or challenging the kids to a fun yard game - you're bound to make wonderful memories at Beach Glass.
Enjoy easy access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail at the end of Great Fields Road and Route 124. You will see the custom wood planked path bringing you right to the bike trail.
